PADI IDCInstructor Development Course |
|
The Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program is one of two distinct components of PADI's Instructor Development Course (IDC)—the core of PADI Instructor training. The first portion is the Assistant Instructor course followed by the Open Water Scuba Instructor program. The OWSI program is a minimum of four days. It introduces you to the entire PADI System of diver education and concentrates on further developing your abilities as a professional dive educator. You have 3 different options when attending your PADI IDC with Kon-Tiki Thailand. First one is that you do the whole schedule which takes 13 days. Second is that you do the first 8 topics online, so you only do the 11 days remaining on site. Third, if you are fully up-to-date with all skills and the PADI Divemaster theory you can start on day 5 with the PADI EFR instructor course which leaves you 9 days on site. |
