The Thailand liveaboard M/V Blue Star is 27 meters in length, 6.60 meters in width and has a timber hull making her one of the largest liveaboards in Thailand. The vessel is built as a pleasure craft. It features a large sundeck, lounge, five normal European-style toilets with fresh water shower and two showers on the dive deck, galley, dive deck and easy to step on ladders.
The Blue Star Thailand liveaboard was built in 2007 and as a special feature. it has its own Finnish sauna, which is used after last dive and before dinner. The boat takes maximum 36 guests in 18 double cabins. A normal liveaboard trip will take you to Similan islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock while shorte trips are available.
M/V Blue Star operates with 3 different types of cabins;
Sea Lion Class cabins are comfortable for two divers. These top deck cabins are equipped with fans and a fridge. Kitchen and dinner area are also located on the same deck.
Sea Horse Class cabins are located on the second deck. Roomy and light cabins have central air conditioning and own fridge. You also find the Finnish sauna, the dive deck and a TV-room on the second deck.
Sea Star Class cabins have double bed, a fridge and own air conditioning. These cabins suit perfectly for couples. At the Similan trips we offer 1 bottle of sparkling wine free of charge. Cabins are located on the lowest deck of the boat.

The Blue Star Liveaboard price include:
Transfers to and from within Phuket Island and Khao Lak to Chalong pier or Thap Lamu pier. Speedboat transfer from Thap Lamu to the liveaboard. Full board accommodation, full meals including snacks, drinking water, tea, coffee, fresh fruits, towel, dinghy for offshore exploration and pick ups, tank, belt, weights, divemaster or instructor.
The Blue Star Liveaboard price doesn't include:
Similan islands national park fee: 4D/5N - 1,600 THB, 3D/3N - 1,200 THB, 2D/2N - 800 THB. Park fee has to paid directly on boat before departure.
Burma/Mergui liveaboard; Myanmar visa fee for Burma safaris is 200 US + 600 THB Similan National Park Fee.
Equipment rental:
BCD - 200 THB/Day, Reg - 200 THB/Day, Wetsuit - 150 THB/Day, Mask, snorkel,fins - 150 THB/Day, Full set - 600 THB/Day.
